Perfect example of pretty pictures that don't mean sh@# -NSFW

Thank god no lensflares......I think they are taking a jab at over the top movies and more so videoclips.
Its not so clear so I had a wtf moment too but just listening at the horrible song ...which I think is also taking a jab at auto tune stuff.....at the end he sings something something I'm at a payphone . So I believe its suppose to make no sense.... plus way to many smoke in an the office building... they survive machine gun bullets ...etc etc.

in dutch : Een aaneenschakeling van nonsense !

with that said I like the video....the song is bad so Im not gonna watch it again.

The videoclip of Moves like jaggar made no sense to me at all :). I know what the song means but ....meh.

Man if they actually were taking a Jab at those things, they mite have made the point a tad bit clearer, like make it clearly a spoof type thing. There are ways to do it without making it corny and bringing the message across. Nowhere in the BTS video though I heard them say it was that type of vid though.

Now you have me going to watch "Moves like Jagger" after this post lol.

It's probably just so profound that your not supposed to understand it. It must be about how you call on a payphone, and then you steal a girl, then steal a car, and it's about people stealing about a bank, therefore it's about stealing someone's heart... or yeah... deep #%$%

Some music videos aren't designed to have a story, however it's made clear by the approach. This, however, clearly is a 'story', that doesn't really have one. Felt more like some young director excited by all the new toys he has and decides to do everything he's always wanted. "Let's have a car chase, and explosions, and a robbery, yeah! Oh but the singer of maroon 5 can't be seen as a bad guy... we'll make it work!"

What does it have to do with pay phones and love?

I didn't see any pretty pictures, just unappealing no contrast, murky images. Guess it's infected everyone now. Typical music video with nothing remotely interesting going on. Not very surprising.

Well at least we can say it fits Maroon 5 very well. :)

When he is running out with the girl, you can see the foam ear plugs production had Adam wear... could have at least colored them black or brown. That was with HD off. haha. And why did he decided to steal a gun and not shoot it? He probably could have just sat there for 30 more seconds and they would have been gone. No motivation to actually make a break for it.

or maybe this was the whole point...have people just not know what the hell is going on or why they do anything really, and have us talking about it and scratching our heads.

First, didn't like the video. Looks like they spent a boatload of money on nothing. I was tired of music videos in the 80's, and have rarely seen anything new since it seems, but this is a perfect example of how vapid parts of our culture has become.

This reminds me of films like Green Lantern, Ballistic, Fear Dot Com, etc. Slick looking bunch of nothing. Lots of money and 99.99% energy put into cinematography, VFX and production design; .01% effort into screenplay and direction.
