Perfect DVX settings

Hey all - I'm 10 days from the first day of my shoot. I'm using an SG35 and DVX100a. I've shot loads of stuff with the DVX before but I've never messed around with the mast ped etc controls.

Does anyone have any settings they feel get the best out of the camera? specially when using a 35 mm adapter and shooting outside?

There are NONE...I think they are all subjective preferences, at the best.
