Adorama has a video posted on YouTube but, apparently, no one has shot at that claimed 819,000 yet. Not even the stills.

The camera is APS-C, 24 MPX + Pixel Shift. Video only 1080 30p or 60i.

But, if that ISO performance is anything close to the stated claim ....

Edit - it's actually 819,200, not merely 819,000!

Sqaw that too on petapixel. I wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like at that level; I don't know if I'm keeping my expectations too high for it though

Well, apparently, whoever decided that the camera is going to be advertised as having that ISO capability was full of crap.

According to Chris, it's a nice photo camera but the layout is odd and the ISO claim is horribly farfetched.

I'll add on my own that, considering the latest 4K enabled smartphones, the KP video is intentionally crippled. For $1,100, one ought to be getting a lot more.

"It can do ISO 800k" is meaningless from the start. Any modern camera would be able to shoot at that ISO. Whether it looks any good, that's the story. And it seems this one is a flop. Bad, Pentax, bad.
