For anyone that's interested in the K7 for video, it appears that the actual internal resolution is 768x1024, and which is then doubled to 1536x1024. This not too surprising, since it's exactly what the Pentax K20D did in 21fps burst mode.

But aside from that I'm seriously thinking of switching camps now, a heck load of good things going for the K7 there. (No 1080 though)

Not saying the K-7 looks bad, actually it has a very pleasing HD look at an very interesting prictag, but I´ll guess it would need some CC (and maybe even a little grain) to give it more of the organic look I got used to like so much...

It's a good start from a company that has almost no video experience at all. They will improve.. Quality isn't bad for a v.1. However they need to get to v.3 or 4 to really understand video technology enough that it's really fantastic. If they stay on a good development track and don't stop.
