Pentax K-01 - WOW

[Psynema]

Doubt I'll get one but seems tempting now that Pentax has a new "Uncle Jack" film to promote it

I'm very curious to see how the noise looks at high isos, but seems high quality has about a 66Mbs rate give or take and Vitaly seems to think he can hack it.

One thing that I LOVE, on top of built in IS, is THE PEAKING FEATURE - hell yeah...manual audio controls too. Shame you can't use an external monitor for it while recording but hell, if it has peaking you may not need one. Also the body is cheaper than a GH2...may be a nice 2nd cam if you're into photography.

Not sure, but I believe the autofocus should still work even if your K Mount lens was made in the 70s...LOL - someone correct me if that's off base.

Where did you get that 66 Mbps number? I thought it was much lower, around 21 Mbps. Did they already hack it???

Nah, just said on the specs that *** quality is 500MB a minute.
