So I went to a DSLR Videographer crouse at Penn Camera a few weeks ago and I just wanted to share my experience. The instructor was such a Canon fanboy ... With almost every slide he went through, he would claim how the 5D gets the job done so much better than any Nikon. I tried to stick up for Nikon since I shoot with a D7000, but he would just find some clever way to 1-up me. What made me really upset is when he said "Nikon isn't doing anything right when it comes to video."
rogar-Mad(DBG): Don't worry, I gave that instructor a poor review.
To me, really, it's not so much about the specs of the camera, it's the cinematographer behind it. I hope none of you Nikon owners take it to the level of my instructor. Its okay to be loyal to a brand, but please, don't be a fanboy.
