Pelican doesn't seem to make a case that fits the EX-1/EX-1R without a lot of leftover space. I ended up going with a StormCase 2450i. (Storm is now owned by Pelican.) It's big enough for an EX-1, batteries, small matte box, filters, and a microphone in a blimp. (That's assuming you don't use foam. If you want to use foam to hold everything, I think you wouldn't be able to get the blimp in the box.)
I also found a case made by another company (the Underwater Kinetics 916) that didn't look as rugged as Pelican or Storm, but was very nearly a perfect size for the EX-1 by itself. I never found one to see, in person, how well they are made.
Depends on what you want to do with it. If its carry on luggage there are only a few like the 1510 that will fit, but as I recall they don't fit the EX1 because the hand grip makes it too wide. For that many people use a back pack case or a Kata bag, which have a curved end to match those overhead compartments.
Also, if you're carrying everything like a 35mm DOF adapter, lenses, several batteries. Some people swear by the pelican 1650 with dividers and wheels, which is like a small trunk. It won't fit carry on though.
I already use a Cinebag for the camera day to day but i am look for something that is more suitable for traveling and if anybody rents the camera from me.
I have a 1650 peli-case for some lights but it just seems a little too big for a camera like the EX1. It would really just be the camera and batteries and chargers so something that its relatively portable would be ideal.
