FS7: Peli 1510 for sony fs7

I have always used Trekpak inserts for my FS7, which allows me to very quickly reorganise the space depending on the job or whether I am flying.

Yep - not cheap for what it is, but it does its job perfectly. If you want to be cheap you can stick some 3mm foam to some corrugated plastic and cut to size to make your own extra inserts :)

Been using it for years now.

Personally, I think custom laser cut foam for cameras is a huge waste of space. My Red came with a custom case and I sold it because you could fit so little in it besides the original items. Good for a rental house maybe, but kind of impractical for owner operators.

I think you're better off with the Trek inserts which are really smart.

For me, I've been on the Thinktank Airport backpacks as they are plenty protective unless you do something really stupid (which I've never done) and you can fit way more in than a Pelican case.

This!
I use the ThinkTank Airport Accelerator for 3yrs for world wide traveling with FS700/FS7/Pentax645z/various Canon stuff.
It fits most cabin bag sizes. It gives good protection. It does not swim like the Peli :-)
