Pegasus II mini DV seadicam + GH1

Per Vitaliy it has some defects.

Design of this thing is very good, but some flaws clearly visible. Price is among them :)

If they are going to sell it about $300 then I'm in. Pegasus is about $250 and it is also
well designed. So it's just fair price.

I just got the ARES, pegasus big brother. It's a great product. Im using it with a t2i and battery grip. The construction is excellent, and it's a hell of a lot easier to set up than the merlin. It has a spring in the grip that helps steady out running shots. All in all im very impressed with it. It's at a great price point, and I honestly think it could sell for more. Wondlan has a winner here.

the wedding video was impressive, but I'll have to attribute that to your skills as an operator! I think that the product looks solid...but its largely untested..you need some good word of mouth if you want to ever reach your target price point! my suggestion is that you realease a few here on Dvxuser (10) as a kit: w/ both tripod and camera QR option as well as weight for say $325-350 allow us to test it, post videos and give feedback...and if its as good as it looks..it will sell for what its worth!

912 i love your craftsmanship. I'm an ID guy myself. first time i saw your 912 vimeo clip I wanted it so bad..ha but couldnt buy it. and your minicam looks good too, and it is indeed mini. I can understand skyler's pricing point on such a well machined item but in marketing terms you could easily sell 3x as much if you were willing to drop the price. People will rave about the performance at a good price and you guys will quickly enough make a name for yourselves to develop and sell your premium stuff. I dont know the exact labour and costings involved so it is really not my place to say =)

+1 for above..... a group buy would be a nice option.

Agree with you guys. Drop the price and let us test it first. If your product is good then by
word of mouth it will sell. Parts and labor there are cheap in Taiwan. C'mon your markup is too high.

You tell me. It's more money than some of the others you mention. So why is it better????
and where can I see this mini cam you talk about?? I highly doubt it can compete with Wondlan Ares dispite the price difference. I cant see how it could be any better than the merlin. Put your product where your mouth is and send one out to be tested and compared. That is if your not afraid. muhahahahahahahaha

There's many people here that will give an unbiased review. So the balls in your court. Prove to us it's as good as you say it is.

Let's just take Glidecam HD-1000 as primer of stabilizer with good and easy adjustment.
And show us why your product is better and cost more.

Yes,you are right,
but,minicam is for light machine,
and handle more close gimbal,
TCAM is type bow, balance and control is hard to type vertical like miniCAM,
especially beginners.
MiniCAM for the less than 2.0kg camcorder,
but stronger can use more than this weight, he he
can see the picture below.
sorry my english is poor, thank's for your questions.

regarding your minicam, i wanted to buy one but you/your friend does not react on emails or pms... hope getting any contact about this post. pm me or - you have my emails. thanks

let me answer this:

the minicam is much more smaller.
the minicam has tree legs. that means if you work very fast it is more stable especially if you roll the cam.
but at all the size would be a ko argument to me against the Glidecam HD-1000 cause it makes the steady much more easy to handle.

Problem ist in my case: no answers on emails and i guess no support...

last I heard from him he has no intention to sell abroad at the moment. shame cause i was actually considering to get one.

hes making us hot with advertising and an email where to order ... okok seems to go for another steady

minicam is definately a solid product..I've said as much before...but I'm a little confused/annoyed that you would continue to post vids after making it clear to me and others that you have no plans to sell abroad at this time!! Has this changed?

Otherwise I would suggest that everyone take a second look at the Sturdycam from sturdyshots...I just placed an order with them which I'm expecting within the week..very good support/response time as well as tech support via skype... paid just under $280(after shipping) for the full setup...

found this user submitted vid that got me excited..taken w/ a non wide angle lens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06xYYuC0ecY&feature=fvsr gotta say this and many other user submissions both on vimeo and youtube hooked me!

I'll post my own videos once it arrives but I'd imo its probably the best bang for your buck for the quality produced...in all fairness tho..if the minicam were being sold abroad..and at a similar price point i'd probably have gone that route because of the size and sleek design!! but its not on both ends so hey!
