My expensive tripod broke down and I was in a fix with low cash, and I bought a cheap $60 tripod from ebay called the pearlstone vt-2000 and I just wanted to say that this thing is a GREAT bang for buck.
$60 is pretty cheap for a tripbod but this thing is very sturdy, locks down nice, and has a very nice fluid movement on the head. It's a bit stiff, but once you get used to it it moves nice and fluid.. and hey, we are talking only $60!!!!
Perfect for the GH1 and I was really surprised at the quality for the price.
No, it's not a world class heavy monfrotto but are you at the point to spend $3000+ on a tripod?
