Peak Bloom - Cherry Blossoms on a Foggy Morning

[EidolonFilms]

Went out this morning and shot this for fun. It was quite foggy, so didn't get any golden light, but had lots of pink/purple light instead which was nice.

Very niceeeee!!!! Loved it

[PaPa]

I see nothing?

[EidolonFilms]

Thanks!

PaPa, it's embedded, but here is the link if you don't see it: https://vimeo.com/39001792

Beautiful. We were up at Udvar-Hazy last week and only got to do a cursory drive-by to admire the bloom.

I do a mess of work in the DC area, it's good to know a very capable fellow AF shooter

Thanks mcbob, and nice to meet you! Holler next time you are in town.

[jevans]

Beautiful clip.

[Ed Kishel]

How did you accomplish the rack focus during the slide @ 1:00 min in?

[EidolonFilms]

It's a little tricky. I have the slider motorized and press the button with one hand and rack focus with the other. I imagine it would be easier with a follow focus though.

[Tyrant Lizard]

Wow, man. Beautiful stuff. Love that slow slider shot looking up at the trees.
