PCMCIA to USB?

[MotionMagic]

I know the DuelAdapter is coming out soon to convert pcmcia to express card.

I have read in another forum of a single slot pcmcia to usb which was suppose to be out October 1st, but this seems to have dissappeared from the cosmos.

I have been looking at a couple of options, but I am not tech savvy enough to know if these would work for getting media from a P2 card into a MBP.

Would this work?

I don't think this would work, and it won't be out for six weeks.

Nope. No cheap usb adapter will work unless it's engineered like the Panasonic ones, which is why they cost $2000.

That reader is likely not a 32-bit reader.

However, it seems academic because it has been discontinued.
