pcmcia to sd adapter , P2 hvx200

I saw a pcmcia to sd adapter and it got me thinking about the high speed these little sd cards have gotten to might make it possible to rig up a p2 card from one of these adapters.
What would happen if you put a adapter in the HVX200 p2 slot and formatted a high speed sd card?

I am always looking for outside the box things so forgive me if this is totally stupid.

It won't work. Search around for discussions of the many similar suggestions made . . .

wont work. been discussed into the ground. there is more to a P2 card than a physical interface and memory
