On Saturday there was a VW cruise with 100+ cars so I figured I would break out the Sticky Pod for the first time.

One suggestion I have is when using the knuckle to the camera it seems like the camera will wobble more, and then I tried using my bogen quick release plate and it made the video very stable and I feel more safe having the camera going 80+ MPH.

My firend used another casmera mount not a stickypod and it fell off right when he pulled into the parking lot... But thats what safty straps are for.
 
I guess its time I look into getting a sticky pod. Ive always been too worried that my camera will get messed up. Put so much $$ into a camera for it to stick on the outside of my vehicle going that fast.
 
I'm looking at a sticky pod as well and seeing how you've been sucessful with it, I just might attempt the same thing :)

So what you're saying is the Bogen quick release plate is a must if I want to do the same? Thanks

For some reason I doubt a couple suction cups can "mess up" someone's car :undecided

Nope, and if it does just use a rad with some glass cleaner... but thats all it does no scratches...

My car is only a few months old i was a bit nervus putting it up at first but its all fine.
 
Let me get this straight

Everyone is hanging out and driving around because they have a VW ?

But the footage does look great! Should have been playing Crocketts theme
