PC won't see camera- installing P2 drivers

I just got the HPX170. I'm trying to install the drivers to my PC, and followed the instructions to have the camera connected via USB as I install the drivers, so that it will recognize the two P2 slots.

It says the camera will prompt a new hardware wizard to open, and to close it and continue.
But the PC is not seeing the camera. The cable and USB port on the computer are fine.
Do I have a bad port on the new HPX, or am I doing something wrong?

Also, hit the Menu button, go to number 9 [OTHER FUNCTIONS], then scroll to the 5th setting PC MODE and set it to USB DEVICE.
 
Jason and Butcher- thanks, yes, it was PC MODE and USB DEVICE- D'oh! I'm an idiot, don't know how I missed that.
Thanks guys. Imported and editing now- looks nice.
