We recently upgraded to the HVX200 from a DVX100B for chromakeying purposes. We're in a studio environment recording direct to disk using DV Rack HD. No P2 cards, no tapes.
Using XP and connecting with a short 1394 cable the computer sees the camera, but can't seem to get a video signal. Another computer has the same problem. Both these systems worked with the DVX100. No software on the computers (and we have a variety) can seem to get a video signal.
This is probably something stupidly simple in the camera configuration or operation, but I can't seem to figure it out.
We are not using the native modes.
Any ideas? (I'm hoping the answer isn't that a P2 card is required even though it's not being recorded to.)
