Adobe for PC are 32 bit applications which makes them take not more then 2 gig ram at max. Isn't 8 gig too much for no reason?
Only 3 apps running. (on-screen keyboard, task manager, and AfterEffects)
I think its easy for anyone to guess how much ram is each application using.
osk.exe 3.6M , taskmgr.exe 4.79M, Operating System 260M, and the rest is all AfterEffects Process.
Seems to be more than 2 gig used by a 32bit app (AfterEffects) in my WinXP 64bit workstation.
8 gig ram gives you alot more headroom to do multi-tasking.
