PC offload troubles?

ugh, pain in my @ss at 1:30 in the morning.

Got to take out a 5d on the company dime to test (woohoo!) and we were...sorta able to offload the .mov onto the avid systems we had at the office.

Tried to take additional shots at night and offload onto my own computer; only it seems that the PC will recognize the 5d, but I can't offload any of the .mov files.

jpegs seem to come off fine from the camera, as do .c2r files if directly dragged from the camera (shows up as a drive).

I'm clearly doing something wrong, but could use a little help in finding out what. Not exactly sure where to find this EOS utility to dl the files that way (the camera shows me the .mov, but I can't even play them back, let alone drag/drop).

thanks in advance.

not to sound like a whiner; here's the official error I get when trying...anything really:
"the I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request"

Try downloading the card with a card reader. When I first received my D5 I had some issues with importing thru the camera.
Mule
