PC not recognizing HVX200 using USB

I have tried to down load the Windows 7 drivers for my HVX200. When the message came up saying "connect P2 device" I plugged in my camera with a 2.0 USB data cable. The PC did not recognize a new device. I tried connecting to 3 different computers using 2 different cables and all USB ports. Nothing happened. I made sure my camera was on "USB Device" and tried again. Same results. Now I have a camera that won't talk to my computer so I can't transfer my video on the P2 card for editing. Any suggestions?
 
during the driver install there should be an option to select what "Device(s)" you will be using. Make sure you don't select any that you don't have. If you select multiple it goes down the list requiring you to plug in each one. I'm guessing you have more selected then just your cam.
