PB 1.67 P2 issue

I have a powerbook 1.67, I've installed the P2 drivers supplied with the hvx200, and my 16gb that I just received doesn't mount. It appears in the top toolbar but my only option is to power it off. When I try to import the P2 card in fcp 5, which is updated to to the most recent version, it is not recognizing the card. The PC slot is definitely recognizing the card is in the slot, when I look at the hardware overview and the card is inserted I am getting information on the card. I can record to the 16gb card on my hvx, I updated the firmware, and I can transfer data via firewire to fcp. When I tried out p2genie, it's not recognizing the card either. Is there another driver I should be downloading. It doesn't seem that the card is corrupt because I can record to it. I'm using os x 10.4.10. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Barry I can only find the drivers for the camera. I cannot find any drivers for the computer. Am I missing something?

Sorry to ask, I think you should perhaps look into investing your knowledge into a sticky for us slow techies.
