I can't make this gig but someone on these boards might want it.
Its event work and would suit someone with a high def camcorder and someone who likes the hip hop scene. Not for vDSLR's, job is based in New York City.
Event is Hip Hop Karaoke championships for HipHopKaraokeNYC.com at Irving Plaza on Jan 29 from 9pm to 1am. They are paying $250.
PM me if you are interested and I put you in touch with the organizers. You can then deal directly with them, I would not be involved.
BTW - You would need to shoot to tape, hand over tape and be reimbursed for tape.
EDIT: this job has been booked
