Particle Illusion software

I know we aren't supposed to advertise for something not sanctioned by the guys in power, but this is something I want as many of you to see as I can:

Go through it, look at some of the emiiters, get an idea what it is capable of. Personally I use if much more to drive After Effects functions like Dislacement maps, and compound blurs.

One of the very first thing I said was that people are welcome to use demo software in their work

I am not encouraging anyone to buy anything, but is s really great 2D particle generator with the lowest learning curve I have ever worked with. Once you understnad it, you are about 90% to knowing how to create and control particle systems from dedicated 3D software.

I'm using the SE free version of Particle Illusion that was available on magazine cover discs a few years ago - presumably inferior to the $99 SE version on the website now. It's fabulous for generating flames, explosions etc, which is all I need and can afford right now

I used it extensively back in the day when I was doing alot of game dev, its a powerfull little *****. I keep wanting to experement with it more.

I LOVE PI!

It is an AWESOME particle generator.

Didn't Apple license some of his code for the particles in Motion...they look A LOT alike....

I'm downloading the demo, I'm going to play around with this new version and see if I can con myself a discunt cause i have the older version...

I'm also a big fan. I even use it in my keynote presentations to make moving backgrounds.

Do any of you have any of the seperate uber emitters they have? The one's that cost around 179 (I think)? I was curious to see how they look.
