i have been sticking around here at DVX for quite a while without adding my work.
I have been doing movies for 6 years now and i'd like to start off with my very first "large" Project called "Parallel Lines". I will soon post my other Project and my newest Project in a few weeks called "The Secret Project".
All projects i will be posting where written, produced and directed by myself. I'll get more into detail when it is time.
---- Parallel Lines ----
I started this movie in 2005. We started off with a team of 4 guys a girl and myself. The team raised to almost 60 members.
Our budget was low, very low unfortunately. The range of about 2k euros ( arround 3k dollars and a bit ) we expected was calculated completely wrong so that we ended up paying about 5k euros ( 8k dollars ).
The Story ( i will be adding additional information soon )
It is all about thomas. He is a "nobody". He is treated as a slave by his father. One day he has to go out shopping for his father when he witnesses a murdering. He tries to escape by running home but the bad guy already caught up with him. As the bad guy recognizes tomas's personality he thinks about using him as a kind of slave, too. While thomas gets forced to follow the bad guy he gaines strength and personality. On the other side there is this kind of gang that deales with drugs. So again, one day thomas has to do something for the bad guy. It turned out that thomas messed up the whole deal. From that point on thomas loses his grip on reality and tries to run away from anybody. At the end the viewer won't ask himself if thomas will die but how he will enforced.
At the very end he escapes and kills the bad guy.
the intention of the whole story is what people can do to you and how it effects you on your personality and your behaviour ( presented in a strong way ).
