Pansonic DVX100a Serious Bundle...where is it?

Jan Critendon stated there would be a new bundle soon:

"The Bundle is not a giveaway, it is marketing, trying to find a package that offers increased value to the ultimate consumer, you guys. It is a new bundle with a new case and a bigger battery. The DV Rack software is not for free, it will be included with a number of items and be promoted as a pretty nice little bundle, called Serious Production,(hope you don't mind the play on the words. )

The DVX100A lives!

It will be available at the end of February. Sorry for the delay, but all the pieces have to come together before I can offer the package.

Can you at least let us know what it will include and price range? Is it going to be included as part of the base DVX purchase or is this "package" cost above and beyond the going rate for the DVX from authorized dealers? If it is included for free like Magic Bullet then I will wait, but if it is more expensive then I will likely get something sooner. I need a case either way but if you guys bundle it as part of the package at the same price then I won;t need to buy one. But if it costs extra then I will just buy the one I want instead of paying extra for whichever one is bundled with it.

I would think it might be a more since it comes with a case and the DV rack program (495 retail). I just bought mine with the magic bullet and bought the DV Rack from Guy Graphics on ebay and got the best of both worlds plus at auction DV Rack was less than 350 shipped and even included a T-Shirt.

It will be a package that will cost more than the Standard DVX. The Package will include the DVX, a newly designed case (that will hold a fully equipped DVX with 4X4 Chroisel Mattbox and Focus Puller, plus your computer.), the DV Rack Software and one of the large batteries.

Hi Jan,

Is there any way I can find out if a new Camera is coming out anytime soon, I will be very Happy... Reason why I am asking is because My Company will like to buy a few Sony HD's as they are the newest thing in the market and they are looking to update their Cameras, but I said that Panasonic "Which I like BeTTER" ;D it's provably coming out with something as good or even better some time soon!

I understand your possition, just that I though this will be good for Panasonic to gain new clients in the market looking to spend lots of money on the latest Gear.

I know there is lots of hype on the New HDz1 from Sony, so I can only see Panasonic coming out with something better or equal to it.

PS I just don't want to hold the Company back, so if I know there is nothing coming out any time soon they can just buy the SonyHD.

Is not a threat at all, I am a huge DVX Fan. I just don't have any control of the company's decision on purchasing/upgrading their products, so I just told them to wait for Panasonic to release new products, but if there is no products coming out then, I wouldn't want to hold the Company back with their plans.

With all of the respect, I hope this is clear, I know things on writing can be taken in a different way and English is not my first language  :). I never meant to threat any one, specially "Jan" Panasonic which is the company I LOVE!

so it will be more than the MSRP or more than the street value  of a DVX?

MSRP is like $3,995  so it would be like $4,300-$4.500 ?????

so will the MB bundle be discontinued

DV rack is $299 with rebate or at trade shows

so it will be a bigger DVX that will hold a mattebox, focus puller and my computer?????????????
damn, that's huge does it come with a dolly too??????
maybe an Anvil flight case will be cool
