Pans look rough

I'm using Vegas 8 and Raylight ULTRA. My PC is good (dual AMD) although I do suspect the invidia video card might be my culprit. All my pans, wheter still picture-overs or video clips, look rough, even when I dynamic RAM 'em. Should I be prerendering? Sometimes they look like a lightning bolt is going thru them. Zooms are fine, which to me is really wierd. Need to solve this, I am not doing this as a hobby.
Thank you

What does that mean, "lightning bolt" going through them? I'm not sure what you're describing.

Video card shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I'd definitely try prerendering to see if that makes a difference, it may well be just the real-time preview that can't keep up.

It just looks rough both in preview, and in dynamic ram preview, and after the project is renderred, on pans. Zooms don't create this problem. Today, based on "Clang"'s suggestion, I tried "Selective prerender" and it seems to help.
Thanks, Dan

Eugienia..I had the same issue while playing the .mp4 file i had rendered from vegas, but after I followed your instructions on your blog everything works great..im not sure if this is the same issue...
