Panny's new 128gb card r95 w90

The gh4 certainly does not need this performance in its current firmware, and I doubt if Panasonic has any interest in making cards for the bmpcc. Feb is going to be interesting.

That is just a plain old SDXC card like any other one and not a fast UHS-II SDXC card like the Sandisk and Lexar 300MB/s cards.

BTW Panasonic has a P2 SDXC UHS-II card also .

The point was not so much about the speed of the card per se. Last year Panasonic brought out new cards for the higher data rate of the gh4. I do not believe they were brought out for the market in general, but mainly to serve a Panasonic need. So what new panasonic need is going to be served by a card that writes at 90 MB/s. We will probably find out in February.

The first two cameras that support the ultra fast UHS-II SDXC cards with the extra row of pins is the Fuji X-T1 and 4K Samsung NX1.
