Panny open the curtains just a little before tomorrow

They burned themselves by not upgrading the AF-100 in a timely manner. An AF-200 should have followed the AF-100 a year after it's initial release.

But I think that's when they started restructuring divisions after the multi-billion dollar loss, no?

If there is no long zoom sadly it wont be any use to me, a 4K camcorder for wildlife is what i want ,but none have the reach i need.

Everything doesn't have to be cinema cameras. Not everybody is a wannabe film maker. For people who want cinema cameras or cameras with removable lenses there are so many out already. Buy them.

I think a fixed lens camera with EX1 shape and a large sensor is something we don't have yet and will be very welcome.

I second that. I will buy 2 to replace my aging EX .

At 1:20 the Veydra rep says that their new Micro 4/3 anamorphic lens is for the GH4 or the NEW PANASONIC CAMERA...

Sorry, but that makes zero business sense.

One year after the introduction of the AF100 there were several competitors on the market that were eating Panasonic's lunch, and Panasonic did nothing about this so they lost this new market segment, a segment that they created. We should have had a third or forth generation of the AF100 camera by now and Panasonic should own a big chunk of this market, instead of playing catch up years later...

Sorry, but that's an absolutely ridiculous assertion. Camera releases costs lots of time and money to do properly. There's a good reason no reputable vendor would follow the business model you described.

The GH2 was on the market when the AF100 was released, now we are one year into the GH4 release, so where is our third generation AF100 ? Panasonic blew their AF100 market lead, and are now years later trying to play catch up...
