Panny HDC-SD1 or Canon HV20

I need to buy an somewhat inexpensive camcorder to use as a b camera for my HVX200.
I'm stuck between the Panny HDC-SD1 or the Canon HV20. Any thoughts out there?
I need to buy one this week.

If you need 24p, the HV20 has it and the Panasonic doesn't. If you don't need 24p, the Panasonic might be the better choice in that it has the same gamma curves and color palette of the HVX.

I'll be shooting on the HVX200 at 720, 24PN so I guess I need the HV20, unless you have any others thoughts on the matter Barry?

Well, it also depends on what you're going to be shooting. If it's stuff where there's potential vibration (car shots, crash cam, stuff like that) the HV20's rolling shutter wobble may ruin your shots. But if it's tripod stuff where there's no danger of bounce or vibration, the HV20 can do some amazing things for the price tag.
