The bills are stacking up so I have to sell my most prized possession, my Panavision Genesis was acquired by engineers who took the best functioning parts from 2 decommissioned cameras, so it's not sold as something ready to shoot, but with a common 2.5" SSD and a Sony RM-B150 you can get into the menu system and record just like it did 16 years ago! Though I don't use this camera to make money, it has been an absolute blast to operate and makes for some buttery camera moves thanks to its weight, love operating with it on my shoulder and on geared tripod heads.
You're purchasing a one-of-a-kind camera with a lot of work put in to restoring it and if you're good with electronic repair than no doubt you can figure out how to get this thing back to 100% in a day. Its rolling shutter is amazing! Not having to worry about "jelly effect" can unlock all kinds of creativity; whip pans are very easy on the eye. This camera renders some great blacks, and overexposes quite nicely with the Panalog linear technology- not to mention it has the same form factor of a Panaflex so it feels very familiar and comfortable for many ops and assistants. Comes with the printed manual. You can find photos of this camera in better builds than the ones I could post on ebay when I created the listing.
TL;DR the selector wheel can push in to select but cannot scroll through menu items, rendering the camera stuck in whatever setting you had it set with the RM-B150. Also, the operator's side dot-matrix LCD screen doesn't work. Camera settings are currently 23.98PSF 180deg shutter 5600K WB ISO 400/Gain lowest setting
