Looks like a Panavision rehousing, except it's a camera instead of a lens.
Red and Panavision. That is a good strategic partnership. Might finally break the Alexa monopoly in Hollywood.
Definitely opens up the field in terms of lensing.
So this is what Jim has been up to, and probably referred to a while back.

Is this for sale or rental only? Price?

It looks really front heavy and with a shoulder pad that is not adjustable.

I guess it's expensive enough that you'd only use it with specific rented Panavision lenses, but just for fun: the sensor is 40.96x21.6mm, which means many FF lenses will show a hard vignette (diagonal is 46.3mm, vs 43.3mm in FF 3:2). Not that it's much of a problem to crop a bit if you're shooting 8K, though...

Nice to see Panavision not fading away into irrelevance. Side note, I was just in Africa for two weeks on a TV show and was surprised to see the crew shooting with Panavised Arri Alexa Minis and an Amira. Panavision lenses and accessories all over them. I didn't know that Panavision had their hand in Arri cameras too?

Panavision's camera fleet is mostly Arris these days (or it certainly is here in Australia at least). They also have a lot of F55s and Epic Dragons. They're also doing a lot of work with Arri Rental at the moment providing large format glass to Alexa 65 productions.
