Panasonic Wide Angle with DVX-100a??

Hello.

does anyone have firsthand experience with the pana wideangle?

i need to know if it comes with basic stuff like a lens hood? a lens cover?

can you leave it on or should you take it off between uses?

how does it compare with the century or the cavision lenses?
