Varicam35: Panasonic V-Log LUT doesn't look right in FCP X - is this a bug in FCP X or the VC-HS

I shot extensively on the VC-HS using V-Log on various wildlife subjects. For some odd reasons in FCP 10.4, when I set it to the Panasonic V-Log, the colors are too magenta. But when I choose the Arri or Black Magic V-Log profile, it looks more of a typical morning sunlight should look. Has anybody else experienced this issue w/ V-Log and FCP X?

Very odd that the Panasonic V-Log LUT just doesn't look right vs. the BlackMagic Film and Arri Log C.
Everything was shot in the default 5.6K preset with -1 Mg. Early morning sun just risen hours. The Panasonic V-Log just looks muddy and too magenta. No color grading added yet. Just the initial LUT setting.

I did some Color Wheel corrections in FCP 10.4 and it's now looking much better. Added green and blue and the colors are now to what I have in mind. The VC-HS has a bit too much magenta w/ the factory V-LOG. Probably should do a -6 GMg on the preset 5600K instead of 0 GMg to reduce the magenta. The ENHANCED menu is disabled when using V-LOG. So if I'm not mistaken, V-Log will override any current HD ENHANCED menu settings.

I have some overexposed footage. In Resolve, with the Pana Lut, I can get all the informations back. In FCPX, with the Pana Lut, it's blown out and impossible to fix.

Or don't use the LUT and grade by hand. Using the LUT is a choice. It is not necessary. A LUT will not account for over / under exposure. Its essentially a set of data the remaps the data in your shot and requires correct exposure.
