Same sensor as the GX7/m43 mount, 1,166,000pixel EVF/3"LCD, hot shoe (doesn't look to have mic input/can't confirm)...
HD (no 4K) 60p/28 Mbps, 24p/24 Mbps. (+more)...

body dimensions: 3.9 x 2.3 x 1.4"

I know 4K is the rage, but that's a tiny cam with EVF! ..and should produce the same quality as the GX7.

I'm guessing there will also be some GX7 update/with 4K (GX8?), but haven't officially heard yet.
That might be worth holding out for...
(I understand there is a new LX100/with 4K, but I mean with interchangeable lens.)

As a B cam, the LX100 looks so much more interesting, so I guess there's less interest in this. It seems most stills photographers are of the same mind too, since the LX100's pretty got most of the attention on photography sites.

I agree with you, as the LX100 has also piqued my interest.
With all these Panasonic product releases, I would also expect an LX8 with 4K.

I thought this GM5 was worth a mention because of the EVF on an incredibly small 3.9 x 2.3 x 1.4" body.

It can be a HUGE benefit to those looking for an extremely compact body with EVF and GX7 performance that will take all their native m4/3 and adapted lenses. Even though I have a GH4, I still carry the GX7 when needing to "travel light" for that very reason.
