Panasonic says its ok to use Sony tapes in DVX

How about same brand Panasonic but different grade. I have bought a lot of standard grade mini DV tapes made by Panasonic ,and now own a DVX100B . I want to use them , but currently using the professional quality one.
If I switch to standard quality one , does it cause the head clogging ?
