With the recent news that Panasonic acquired controlling stake in Sanyo, what might this lead to?
As you may remember, Panasonic let go of JVC not too long ago, and their new crush is kind of a surprise. Might Sanyo be developed by Panasonic into a A/V powerhouse on par with JVC, featuring new lines of cameras/camcorders to compete with some others, or will they simply maintain their consumer oriented status?
Certainly, there may be an entirely different strategy motivating this, but I was just entertaining the idea as it pertained to each company's vested interest in video.
