GH5 Panasonic S1H Lensing Options Question...

Quick question in case anybody has already researched this. Is it theoretically (and hopefully, practically) possible to adapt an e-mount S35 lens onto the upcoming Lumix S1H body? I ask because I own the pair of E-mount Fujinon MK cine-zooms (currently used on my FS7), and have been looking for a decent b-cam for a while. Whilst I’m open to buying at least one FF native Panny zoom lens (likely 24-70ish - to use for photography if nothing else), it would be great to be able to adapt my E-mount glass onto it as well. Anyone have any input? Cheers, jason

I found a passive adapter for FD mount to L-mount, so it may be possible.

It all depends on the flange distance...

The Pana S1H uses the new Leica L lens mount, with a 20mm FFD, a FD lens is 42mm, so an adapter works here, but the Sony E Mount is 18mm, which prevents adapting its lenses to anything with a longer FFD. This is why it is not physically possible.

On the other hand, the new Nikon Z6 FFD (16mm) is shorter than the Sony E mount. So an adapter is available to mount a both a Manual or auto Sony E mount to the Z6.
Cheers
