I got the following email message from a local Panasonic resaler.
"Beat the Panasonic Price Increase! Panasonic Solutions Announces Price Changes November 1, 2011 for Professional Video Products. Unfortunately, the US Dollar’s relative weakness to the Japanese Yen has forced Panasonic Solutions Company to adjust our pricing to our resale partners and to the market in general.Nearly all models will be affected; including major models and many key accessories. Most models will see an increase in price of approximately 6% effective November 1, 2011. If you are thinking about a Panasonic purchase, please give your account rep a call now - we may be able to offer price protection."
