Panasonic, please give us an HD viewfinder for the HPX500!

I'd love to pick up one of these cameras but i simply will not until something is done )update) to get an HD VF on it. I like what they have done with the 300. If they would just take the 300 and throw the 2/3 CCD's and matching optics in it I'd be set. panny's stuff is great for the most part but what are they thinking?
 
The 500 is a 2007 model, 300 a 2009 model, a lot happens in two years. Especially with electronics that's getting cheaper by the hour. Also a HD VF will add quite a bit to the price tag, as long as it's going to be replaceable you can't put a lot of the electronics into the camera as they've done with the 300.

That said, I hope the VF20 will improve the performance the last step to make it acceptable on the 500, acceptable for what it is...
 
Here is the thing I don't understand.
I use the same viewfinder on my 610 and my 500. The viewfinder is a lot sharper and easier to use on the 500.
At first I thought it was the 2 different viewfinders so I swapped them with the same result.
