Months ago, my LX100 was asking to set the clock every time I powered it on, even if I had just powered it off minutes before. I found out that a fix is to leave the OEM battery overnight with camera on to charge the internal battery, which I did and solved the constant messages. (The symptom to this extreme only ever happened once.)
Presently, if I store the camera (without battery stored inside), and I finally use it 2 or 3 weeks later, I get the set clock message. If I continue to use it at least once a week, the message doesn't appear. If I, again, go for weeks without use/storing it and then once I put a battery in and power on, it asks to set the clock. Then the once a week use requirement starts again.
Is the camera behaving normally if I leave it alone for weeks without use and without storing a battery in it and then get prompted with the message? To reiterate, it only asks once and then fine once clock set.
