HDSLR: Panasonic Lumix GH5S LCD screen brightness issues

Hello Group! I'm having an issue with the LCD screen on the GH5S. I have it set to the brightest (1*) but after a number of seconds the screen goes darker into some kind of screen saver mode, not totally dark, but darkens, it brightens back up when I touch or adjust any settings So, does anyone know how to shut that off? Thank you for your help!

Just a wild guess, but do you have the time set correctly on the camera? And do you have the screen set for "Night Mode"? If it is in Night Mode and thinks it is the wrong time, it might darken unexpectedly. Again, just a wild guess.

Hi Bobko, thanks for the reply, the time is set correct and nigh mode is turned off.

If you have Live Boost set for a particular mode it will work when you start to record in that mode. I have Live Boost set to OFF and I do not see the issue. Also have Constant Preview set to ON.

Hi Ron, thanks for the reply, I have "live view" off, but still having the issue, this is driving me nuts!
