Hello group,

I just started shooting with the Lumix gh5 a few weeks now. I'm trying to get a brighter image in the monitor, and the monitor luminance was set to auto in the menu. I'd like a brighter sharper screen so I set it to 1*, which helps make it sharper, however it gets darker after a few minutes. Is there a setting to keep it at the 1* luminance without it going darker? Is that an issue with a energy saver mode on the camera? Power saving is set to "off", and Auto LVF Monitor is also set to "off".

Thank you for your help!

The GH3 and GH4 displays work the same way. I always assumed it was a combination of power-saving and to avoid burn-in on the display.

To bring it back to full brightness you just have to touch any control. ( not sure if this can be done via the remote app )

This issue may be fixed in the upcoming firmware update.
