Bluemark can you do an indoor test? one light source. I really interested in seeing it perform in a darker scene than what you shot to see the level of banding in the higher ISO's. did you adjust anything other than ISO in your test? ISO 1600 looked brighter than ISO3200

If you need an FTP site then I can provide a link to one. Also I have a program that can losslessly cut and join the .MTS files. Just Private Message me if you want me to host the original files.

thanks all,
i can upload the original footage to ftp if someone can supply me a web space, mpgxsuvd ?

Mr Fanny, of couse, i should adjust the iris...
the adjust as i remember sames like this...but i not very sure,
ISO 200: shutter speed under 1/30, iris about 1.4 (the bed quality of the Contax 50/1.4)
ISO 400: 1/30, 2-2.8?
ISO 800: 1/30, 2.8-4?
ISO 1600: 1/30, 4-5.6?
ISO 3200: 1/30, 5.6-8?

Interesting, many thanks, also are you able to upload any raw photo files, would love to see some photos in raw that I can play around with in LR3, day light and at night would be very kind. MPGX can you help with this also?

BlueMark, can you upload original to Vimeo if the file size is less than 500MB?

You can upload up to 500MB per week for free. Optionally you can allow original file for downloading so that we can grab the original.

BTW 3200 looks very good. Thanks for sharing.

I just PM'd BlueMark the FTP information. Feel free to upload any movie, picture, or RAW files you would like. I will share the link to original files as well as combining them into one lossless downloadable video on Vimeo.

I would love to see tests like this.

1 JPG, 1 RAW, 1 1080p JPG, 1 720p MJPEG, 1 1080i video, 1 1080p @ 24 FPS video, 1 720p @ 60 FPS, 1 1080p teleconverter video, and 1 720p teleconverter video all shot of the same subject with the exact same manual settings used for each one. It would also be great to see those samples for the entire ISO range but I know that is a lot of work.

If you shoot the footage I will do the leg work of putting it all together. Just label the videos so I know what they are(ie: 1080p @ 24 FPS ISO 400.MTS, or 1080i ISO3200.MTS).
