Panasonic Broadcast announced it has launched www.defperception.com, a blog to inform and educate video professionals on the new AG-HVX200 HD/SD DVCPRO P2 camcorder and on high definition technology topics in general.

The blog, featuring “Tosh Bilowski” as the company’s human voice, provides Panasonic a forum to express its views and share its opinions on new technologies, products, features, and activities, as well as answer questions in a meaningful way.

just in case anybody is asking:

1) NO there aren't any frame-grabs yet
2) NO the HVX can't record DVXPRO-HD on tape
3) NO P2 has nothing to do with an updated toilet
4) NO we don't know the pixel resolution of the HVX's chips
5) YES we have been on moon
6) NO Tosh is not real
7) NO HVX can't record HDV
8) YES HVX will come out in December not in January
9) NO this is not ment ironically
10) YES perhaps just a little
 
I can understand re-running this "news" if it was hard to find in a search--and let's face it search is sometimes looking for a needle in a haystack. But "defperception.com" brings up two links, the second one the first thread started on the new Panny blog dated 10/27.

I don't think anyone was being an A-hole per se; we we're just poking fun at the number of threads that get repeated here; nothing was aimed at Ian directly.
 
It's not backpedaling if the only result for "defperception" brings up the original, overdiscussed topic on the blog (well, and now this one too because the poster didn't bother to search).

Cici hit it right on the mark... and I think people just end up talking about the same old things because there's nothing new to talk about... we're all just sitting around waiting... and waiting...

...of course, that doesn't mean it's any less annoying. Ian, off to the bastille!! :-P

I'm usually referred to as much worse than just an a-hole. A-hole or not, it's all in good fun, I highly doubt anyone was offended.
