The camera was purchased in 2008 and the adaptor was purchased in 2009. Both equipment had been treated with care, and had served their purposes beautifully. The HPX171 is a HD Camcorder which records to DVCProHD on P2 cards, PAL and NTSC switchable, and even have a waveform and vectorscope on its display LCD screen. The Cinemek G35 is a static 35mm adaptor - static adaptors are often described as the holy grail of 35mm adaptors. It has no moving parts, solidly machined and made, capable of producing one of the most organic looking bokehs ever (lauded by some as the ferrari of Bokehs). It is hard to part with this setup which I had used for one feature length film, several short films over the past 2 years. My loss is your gain.
The picture above shows the setup of the HPX171 camcorder with the Cinemek G35 adaptor and a Nikon 180mm lens. Please note the only items included for sale in this image is the camcorder, the Aaton Bauer battery and the G35 adaptor.
