I Have a Panasonic Hmc 150 and just about a week ago i was taping and event and the display and viewfinder went black.
I turned the camera on everything looked good and after about a minute those things i mentioned went black.
If i go back to view previous videos on the card the display and view finder work fine.
I put it back to record mode and everting is black again and if i try to record it records a black scene.
So i think the display and view finder are ok and it has something to do with the video chip or power to the chip.
What do you think.
and if i need to send it out for repair where do i send it.
This camera is only year or two old.
