Also forgot to mention - the camera is normally mounted in a Fig Rig and primarily operated handheld. It also works easily with steadycams and car mounts.

If you'd like to come try it out, you are more than welcome. Bring a hard drive or a couple of class 6 or higher SDHC cards and you can take the footage with you to examine under a microscope.

All you have to do is push the 'record' button. The tethered remote starts and stops both decks at the exact same time.

The decks can also be jam-synced if you like to sort the footage using time code.

The baseplate has grooves cut into it and the cameras are mounted with custom thumbscrews. The IO is simply controlled by moving the cameras in and out. 2.75" is perfect most of the time but you can adjust them from 2" to 10" (for landscapes, miniaturization and whatnot) with this particular setup.
