GH2 Panasonic GH2 vs G3

Hi Everyone,

Apart from the fact that the Panasonic G3 records in 1080i, is the G3 very different from the GH2 in terms of its movie mode?

Also, I understand the G3 records in interlace first before outputting as 1080p. But can you tell the difference between the faux-progressive of the G3 and the true progressive movie of the GH2?

The GH2(with firmware 1.1) and the G3 record 1080p @ 30 FPS embedded in 1080i. The GH2 records it at 24 mb/sec and the G3 does 17 mb/sec. The GH2 also uses B frames for the 1080p modes. I believe the G3 does not.
