Actually I think that email address is for Trammel Hudson, who started Magic Lantern on the 5d. A1ex is the guy who appears to be continuing where Trammel left off, bringing new features and porting to additional devices. I think he would be the guy to speak to.

Magic Lantern is a whole different beast to the current GH2 hack that just exposes some extra controls on bit rate etc in the official Panasonic firmware. ML on the other hand is a complete new implementation of firmware for the Canon DSLRs based on CHDK (Canon Hack Development Kit) which has been around for some years for enhancing Canon compact cameras.
