GH2 Panasonic GH2 -- using multi delete function

Hi
I know how to reformat the card and use the trash function to delete single files, but was just curious how to use the multi delete function. When I hit 'multi' thumbnails appear but I don't get how to select and delete multiple files. Anyone know?
 
To delete multiple pictures (up to 100)
Press [Garbage]
Press Up/Down to select [DELETE MULTI] and then press [MENU/SET]
Press Up/Down/Left/Right to select the picture, and then press [DISPLAY] to set (repeat this step)
[Garbage Can] appears on the selected pictures - if [DISPLAY] is pressed again, the setting is canceled
Press [MENU/SET]
Press 3 to select [YES] and then press [MENU/SET] to set

The manual is in Greek, obviously written by one who learned his Greek from an individual whose native written lenguage is Sanskrit.

Well here's an opening for you. Write a GH Manual for Dummies..... You might even make a few bob from it.

And let's leave the Greeks and Hindus out of it..... It smacks of jingoism.
