Panasonic GH2 time lapse hardware and workflow

Coming from the 5dII I am unsure about time lapse on panasonic gh2.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks

I have done a few timelapses on my GH1.

Hardware, I used a external wireless intervalometer from "studiohut" to run the timelapse programs. $70 on Amazon. Plugs into the 2.5mm jack, works great, also works as a general wireless remote shutter release.

Once you have the pictures, the workflow is exactly the same as what you used for your 5Dm2. Me, I use ffmpeg or mencoder to process & transcode the jpeg frames into various video formats. But you can use whatever you're comfortable with.

I would love to know what the shutter life expectancy is on the GH1/GH2. Some of the professional Nikons quote 100K-200K shutter events. According to user data, the 5Dm2 has a 1/10 chance of failing around 10K shutters, and a 1/5 chance of failing around 50K shutters. See http://www.olegkikin.com/shutterlife/canon_eos5dmkii.htm

But...those are "old school" DSLRs with a mirror box. I ~hope~ the mirrorless GH1/GH2 are ~much~ more durable. Too new to say for sure. Perhaps someone from Lumix marketing is reading this and will start quoting their shutter life expectancy figures for competitive purposes. :)

SHould have been a bit clearer.
What automatic timer works with GH2 was my question?
Is that the one?

From what I can tell there are two styles of controllers that are "wired" and at least one type that is wireless. You can get the same functions for less using a wired one like this one for $35:

On ebay you can get a similar controller for $23:

I haven't bought one as I discovered there is a way to convert a Nintendo DS into a time lapse controller and it seems to give you many more options. There are links to that at timelapse.org.
